We have designed a luxury brand ,that is rich in craftsmanship,offering some of the most creative handmade fashion and home accessory items designed with only top quality materials including authentic high Egyptian cotton hand weaves to perfection. Our project started from the depth of Upper Egypt to carry what our home land produces to the world of modernity ; in order to preserve our culture and heritage through art and fashion. SAROUCHA was founded in 2015 with the talent of my sister and I, which is drawing on hand woven fabrics with the Arab, pharaonic and Egyptian motifs that our civilization had carried for us. We have had several partnerships with National and International institutions and forums inside and outside Egypt. It has given us a greater experience and confidence to penetrate the market with our authentic and exclusive products. Our dream is to create a high quality Egyptian product that is globally competitive; one that reflects the richness of our pharaonic and historic culture and the beauty of blending colors, textures and design into our unique product lines. Our latest achievements is we are awarded as top winners at Gtex Menatex Made in Egypt fashion designer contest 2022. We reached top five finalists to show our latest collection in the first fashion week in Egypt 2023 in partnership with designers from Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan. Also,We are now honored to showcase selected since 2020 pieces of SAROUCHA Brand at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

Hello lovely members, I am Nevine owner of “Crochet & more” and I am a new joiner to this artistic inspiring community of “I make this” Although I am economics graduate and spent many years in corporate business dealing with numbers and statistics, Arts and crafts were always a passion and attraction to me, as I always loved doing and creating things with my hands. Throughout the years and as a hobby I moved from cross stitching to doing some decoupage until I found my true passion in crochet To me, Crochet became like magic in which one can create beautiful and unique items by mixing colors and using only hook and yarn. So, I decided to go with my passion. However, I didn’t know how? So I started self -learning and trying different methods and techniques from basic to advance until I reached my goal after years of learning and trial and error. I am always inspired by nature and how colors are mixed in complete harmony and beauty. I tend to details in every piece and try to use natural eco-friendly materials like jute in most of my designs. All my products are handmade and not mass production, made with love and care in every detail. Despite the challenge of running a business, I aim to introduce new definition of crochet products to stand out from the crowd and match the modern woman and to be treasured and passed down as a testament of art that bring joy to my customers.
