Vivace

I’m Laila Kassem, 21 years old, a pharmacy student and the founder of “Vivace”. Painting, making accessories, decorations, and handmade crafts have been my passion since childhood. So, I decided to start an online page with the least possible resources, purely to have a space to show my artwork and make use of online platforms. I received so many positive comments and feedback from my family and friends, encouraging me to continue. The hardest part of setting up my business was the marketing aspect. I spent a lot of time working on the pieces, but I didn’t get much in return until I gained more experience to advertise my work. I started to reach out to people through the I make this! group and that really helped. I make string art tableaux, boho designs (Dream catchers, macrame wall hanging, and curtains), oil paintings, and also custom orders.Vivace means “Lively and spirited” in Italian and as I believe wall decor adds a lively touch and completes the beauty of any place, the name was perfect.
