thank you for being here☺️  my name is Samar Hassanein, I am originally an Architect Engineer, who decided lately to persue  my passion for making handmade dolls. So I founded my brand “Samar Designs” dreaming one day to become a professional doll maker spreading love and happiness  by each doll to everyone ❤️   My passion with dolls started from my childhood as a normal little girl in love with soft and tender dolls. As a grown up I used to collect handmade dolls from every country I travelled to, dreaming one day to create my own handmade doll reflecting our Egyptian Traditional culture and heritage. Love sharing with you my collection of handmade dolls including my special first line of Egyptian folkloric ones “ Warda” and “Bahia” as a reflection of the beautiful Egyptian countryside women with their cheerful and colorful galabeya (dress). Each doll is handcrafted and one of a kind, as when it is dublicated it can never be identical  due to the nature of handmade … face features are either handpainted or hand stitched embroidery or both.
