Hello dear customers,
Here is a quick story behind our brand, The idea of Hekaya started when i was searching for a gift for my nephew : ). I decided to draw on a blanket and printed his name on it then i was inspired to create a story behind it.
Hekaya is an Egyptian brand for kids.
Our aim is to deliver a message through storytelling in a different way than the TV and mobile phone screens that kids are obsessed with currently. Creating more related products to the story different than the book itself to attract the kids to spend sometime to read.
We tell the stories through hand drawn illustrations on products that kids use everyday letting them imagine and think for a few minuites before sleeping.
Currently we have three different stories:
Suitable for all ages. Specifically from 4 to 13 years old.
each story has its own set of designs. The book is available in Arabic and English language.
Our current products are bed linen and sleeping gowns
Blankets – Duvet covers – Bed sheets and pillows – backpacks – sleeping dresses and bedtime story books
 
With each product you get the story book with it which is the main inspiration for all the designs on the bed linen.
