Halaet Wasl

I’m Iman Elansari, a mother of three, a grandmother of three & founder of “Hala’et Wasl”.

Throughout my career,  I worked as a dentist, a translator & a Character Building supervisor but I have always found my utmost passion amongst fabrics, threads and needles of any kind.

Lately, I discovered the field of Patchwork & Quilting which I admired & decided to explore more. 

It’s a lengthy & complicated process, starting with the design, choosing the fabrics, cutting & finally putting the pieces together to reach a product totally handmade with dedication and love. This makes me super attached to every piece. Here comes the concept behind the name HALAET WASL as I have that connection with every finished product, also either someone purchases a product for him/herself or as a gift, that widens the chain even more and “hala’et elwasl” between us keeps growing.

It’s a way of connecting one human being to another with the same harmony that connects the fabric patches together.

Halaet Wasl offers a range of products:

-Throws

-Single/Double bed quilts

& soon we will include:

Cushion covers and runners so stay tuned..

Our products are padded & quilted to add the comfort and warmth needed.

*Customised products (colours and sizes) & embroidered personalised names on baby quilts are available.

 أهلا و سهلا بكم،

 أحب أعرفكم بنفسي، أنا إيمان الأنصاري, أم لثلاثة و جدة لثلاثة و صاحبة ”حلقة وصل”.

 علي مدار حياتي اشتغلت أكتر من حاجة منهم دكتورة اسنان و مترجمة و موجهة تربية ايجابية في مدرسة مشهورة، بس دايما كنت بلاقي شغفي بين القماش و الخيوط بأنواعهم، و مؤخرا اكتشفت مجال الباتشورك اللي شدني جدا و ساعتها قررت اني ابدأ استكشفه اكتر.

 هو بيتكون من مراحل متعددة أولها التصميم و اختيار الأقمشة المناسبة و بعدها القص و أخيرا تجميع كل القطع مع بعض لتنفيذ منتج يدوي مصنوع بكل اخلاص و حب، و ده اللي بيخليني متعلقة جدا بكل قطعة بانفذها. و هنا تيجي الفكرة ورا الاسم حلقة وصل عشان أنا برتبط بكل قطعة بنفذها و اللي بيشتريها بيكون هوا كمان مرتبط بيها أو بيهادي بيها حد فا توسع سلسة حلقات الوصل بينا و تفضل تكبر في سبيل إنها توصل بين الناس و بعضها زي الوصل بين قصاقيص القماش.
