Bahera Jewels

Bahera is a visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2013. She began her professional career in the field of mosaics, where she worked for five years. Despite her work in that field, she had always been passionate about jewelry making since her college days.

She taught herself through YouTube tutorials and started designing simple jewelry pieces that she sold to her friends. Over time, this hobby continued to grow with her from 2011 until 2020, without her taking any real steps to turn it into a proper business.

In 2020, Bahira was working on a mosaic project, but circumstances didn’t allow her to continue—especially since the work involved breaking glass and other risky materials, and at the time, her daughter had just started crawling. Since she couldn’t imagine staying idle, she decided to return to jewelry making. She brought out some beads she had kept from before, tried making a few pieces, and they all sold out. From that moment, she decided to follow the path she truly loves. ❤️

This doll crochet project didn’t start with a business plan or a big dream. It started quietly—just a hook, a ball of yarn, and a need to slow down.   In a fast, noisy world, crochet became my pause button. Each stitch was a small moment of focus, patience, and care. Over time, I noticed something beautiful: these little dolls weren’t just yarn anymore. They carried feelings. Comfort. Personality. Stories.   Every doll is made slowly, by hand, with intention. No two are ever exactly the same—just like people. A tiny tilt of the head, a choice of color, a stitched smile—each detail becomes part of a character waiting to be loved.   What began as a personal escape turned into a way to create joy for others. These dolls are meant to be held, gifted, kept, and cherished. They are reminders of warmth, childhood wonder, and the magic of handmade things in a world full of mass production.

Kemetra began as a shared love between two sisters and a simple belief:

that what we put on our skin and into our space should be pure, and nourishing.

 

Growing up, my sister was always creating mixing oils, herbs, and butters to make natural skincare long before it was a trend. Those early moments shaped our deep respect for nature and its ability to heal, protect, and restore.

 

Today, that love lives on through Kemetra.

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method, allowing every ingredient to retain its natural benefits. We use only high-quality oils and butters, carefully sourced from Egypt and from different parts of the world during my travels. Each formula is designed to truly feed the skin never to strip it.

Our candles are just as intentional.

We hand-craft our candle molds ourselves, making every piece truly one of a kind. Each candle is poured with 100% natural soy wax and finished with a wooden wick, chosen for a clean, slow burn that doesn’t pollute the air. The result is a gentle glow, a soft crackle, and unique natural colors—no two ever exactly the same.

No toxins. No unnecessary additives. Just thoughtful craftsmanship rooted in nature.

 

Kemetra is about slowing down, honoring ancient wisdom, and turning everyday rituals into moments of care for the skin, the home, and the self.

Just dough it

It started with a baking course taken out of passion, flour everywhere in the house, and bread made for the people around us. When the feedback kept coming back better than expected, we realized this was something worth sharing. Simple bread, honest work, and a lot of care in every bake.

أنا دعاء رضوان .. خريجة فنون جميلة ( ديكور) .. بعد سنين طويلة بعيد عن الشغل والفن ، قررت أرجع لهويتي الأصلية ، لشغفي اللي فضل ٢٥ سنة مجرد حلم  إن يكون لي مشروع خاص بي .. كان صعب إني أحققه و بالذات وقت ما كانوا ولادي أطفال صغيرين ..  فكرت في مجالات كتير في الهاندميد و كان لي بعض المحاولات ، لكن في ٢٠٢١ كانت بدايتي في مجال اختارته بحب هو فن الريزن و من هنا كانت الانطلاقة الحقيقية ، استخدمت الفواكه و الورود المجففة وحاجات تانية بس بما إني سكندرية الميلاد و النشأة كانت معظم منتجاتي مستوحاة من البيئة البحرية السكندرية  .. كل قطعة بقدمها  هتشم فيها ريحة البحر ، و تشوف فيها لون السما و الميه ، و هتسمع فيها صوت الموج على الشط و تحس بملمس الرمل و القواقع و الصدف .. كل قطعة من ال gallery بتاعي بتحكي حكاية حب من قلب الطبيعة ..
