Giftresteg
Giftrest is an Egyptian brand for home accessories and seasonal gifting. I am noran nagy owner of Giftrest and my business partner is my life partner “in good and bad as they say” , it all starts when he was not finding a suitable job, we played all the games and never know about god plan for us.I was working at then and i have always felt that something big is waiting for me something that was calling me, I decided to quit my job and i pushed so hard to start a business of our own. We have chosen to work on seasonal basis and this was really tough, its kind of restarting with every new season, new ideas, new designs, new product lines and new places for display. It was so hectic but we enjoyed a lot. We were lucky from the start to have beautiful people supporting our back and helping us throughout the way. Our first hit was in March 2018, during mother’s day with our pop art collection that was so successful and from that date we succeeded to save a place at many big retailers like Cow, Diwan, Virgin, Ego, Party Station,Our Kids, Flamingo and many others. Our business model was originally based on b2b model, so we are a sort of wholesaler but after the Corona crisis we decided to give more attention to b2c and serve individual users through our digital platforms. We are happy with what we have reached and we are proud that we succeeded in offering high quality products with trendy design that are 100% Egyptian.

Samar Designs
thank you for being here☺️ my name is Samar Hassanein, I am originally an Architect Engineer, who decided lately to persue my passion for making handmade dolls. So I founded my brand “Samar Designs” dreaming one day to become a professional doll maker spreading love and happiness by each doll to everyone ❤️ My passion with dolls started from my childhood as a normal little girl in love with soft and tender dolls. As a grown up I used to collect handmade dolls from every country I travelled to, dreaming one day to create my own handmade doll reflecting our Egyptian Traditional culture and heritage. Love sharing with you my collection of handmade dolls including my special first line of Egyptian folkloric ones “ Warda” and “Bahia” as a reflection of the beautiful Egyptian countryside women with their cheerful and colorful galabeya (dress). Each doll is handcrafted and one of a kind, as when it is dublicated it can never be identical due to the nature of handmade … face features are either handpainted or hand stitched embroidery or both. Some fabrics are even handpainted… body of the dolls are pure cotton. hope you enjoy and love my work💗💗💗 Samar Hassanein Owner and founder of Samar Designs

ZARADA
4 years ago I decided to follow my passion and shift career from being a patent attorney to becoming a jewellery designer. I graduated from IGI Dubai and became a professional jewellery designer and since then the learning process doesn’t stop, there’s something new to learn everyday. Zarada or “زرده” was founded in 2019. It’s an Arabic word used among all jewelers meaning a jump ring. Jump rings are essential components in every single piece of jewellery and used in so many different ways to connect elements together. It’s a crucial link to all elements just like jewellery is the crucial link to express a woman’s sensation and mood and link it to different occasions. We at “Zarada” aim to make every single piece an affirmation about who you are and a declaration of “Here’s who I am!”

Framed by Hana Tawakol
.My name is Hana Tawakol I’m a Photographer and I am the mother of two girls. Like most people I struggled to find my true calling, so once I graduated from university and I worked in different fields which wasn’t really my passion after 5 years of denial and lots of ups and downs I finally decided enough is enough and took the tough decision to quite my job, take a long and hard look at my life and had the courage to follow my passion.Photography was what I always felt drawn too, seeing beauty just made me want to capture it. I started taking classes & Courses of photography Realising how blessed I am in that I get to travel all over the world and see new exotic and beautiful places…..it hit me. I finally knew what I wanted to do!! I wanted to capture the beauty that I’m able to see and frame that piece of space and time allowing myself to view it over and over again and transport myself and others into this magical world after a long and tough day in traffic, running errands or simply chasing after my girls.Framed is my attempt at allowing you to pause and remember the beauty all over the world by simply staring into your wall.I present to you my window to the world. All pictures are originals captured by me during my travelsYou can order all pictures in many sizes and they can be customised into collages to fit your unique space.

Meraki
Meraki is a family business that was founded in Cairo, Egypt in 2019. It provides a diversity of natural products for personal care catering to skin, hair and wellbeing. After years of making her own natural products, which she often shared with her close friends, Mona Awwad finally founded Meraki in 2019. It started with a basic face and body line made of the purest ingredients, blended with passion and attention, to provide affordable products for those seeking to care for their skin while respecting nature and what it has to offer. However it quickly evolved into much more than that as her loyal customers started expressing the need for specific products, not only for their skin but also for their hair and wellbeing. As a chemist with over 20 years of experience, working in skin care with some of the biggest companies, it never sat well with Mona that consumers had to pay over 80% of the price of products on packing, marketing and overheads rather than the actual raw ingredients. It seemed absurd that people who cared about the environment had to pay more to use natural products of high quality, and this idea became central in the conception of Meraki. In fact, sustainability and respect are two central values upon which the company is built: respect for people based on fairness towards customers as well as the Meraki team. Their wellbeing is crucial to us. And sustainability by respecting nature and animals, sourcing from nature without hurting it, and of course never testing on animals. As a company, Meraki is aware that production will always have an ecological impact, but that doesn’t stop us from doing our best to always keep this impact to a minimum through constant reflection and adapted actions.

Sarah Noureddine- Handmade accessories and bags
Passion leads you:) I am Sarah Noureddine , the founder of Sarah Noureddine Handmade Bags & Accessories. My journey started 5 years ago. I had to buy a natural leather bag from a trip abroad, but I didn’t find what I wanted and started to run out of time. That was when I decided to do it MYSELF. This was a turning point in my life, when I found success in what I created and made. It was out of the box and unique. From then on, leather making has become more than my passion. I decided to start my own brand as a self taught designer for people with different tastes, adding a different touch to the Egyptian market while seeking to be recognized internationally as a top Egyptian brand 😄

SHAFIAA ELWAKIL Jewellery
My name is Shafiaa Elwakil, I’m an Art lover. I search for beauty in everything around me… I studied Architecture and worked in the field of architectural and interior design for several years. Drawing , Painting and crafts making was always my passion .. by the year 2004 Jewellery making was my new passion . I self taught my self different techniques of silver Jewellery making , attended the basic class at Azza Fahmy Design studio to learn more about the basics , and I spent a lot of time learning more and more techniques online and ever since I started designing and making my own pieces in 2013 based on the knowledge that I have acquired in addition to my Architectural background and designing skills. Most of my designs are inspired by either nature, architecture around me , or our rich culture and heritage. I also aim to produce high end Jewellery where every piece is a form of art. Jewellery that speaks Poetry, illustrates Art and every form of Beauty around us. I don’t make mass production , all pieces are hand made limited edition. I also aim to introduce a new definition of dressing up to the modern woman where a piece of Jewellery is a possession not just because of the materials used but also the art that it’s meant to resemble . Every Piece has A Story Behind it.and i make it with love.
