I created this brand alongside to my thriving career as an Interior Designer when I discovered that I encompass a passion within me to fulfill my love for handmade crafts; but it was mainly probed by life’s ever-changing circumstances as follows:

Inspired by my two daughters, “Haima” who is now an angel in heaven; with whom our love for handmade products, flowers and colors was shared… And “Hania” who was the source of encouragement behind launching this line, as her belief that the designs are so special and everyone should own a piece; thus, “Tassi’s MadewithLove” came to life. <!–more–>

Hello, My name is Maha Ahmed I graduated from college of fine arts 2008/2009. I am an artist, designer (2d & 3d), and a decorator since 2009. I worked as an artist, interior designer and also in the educational field for a while then I discovered that, I am totally passionate about Art and Décor so, I got the Idea of my project VELATURA since 2016 . I started to produce and exhibit my products in 2017 till now. I created its identity , which is inspired by the Egyptian culture and stories and through my study of the Egyptian market and its needs.   I have the Atelier based in Alexandria, the door is always open for girls and women to work with me, first I was only accepting from my friends and family. Now the door is more open for new girls to join my project . They train and work and spend a good time doing what they love and passionate about.  You will find different kinds of products and collections such as : coffee sets, tea sets, trays, mirrors, cushions, and postcards.

All my life my lovely Mum (Allah keep her safe always) has introduced us to every kind of art she could, from painting watercolor, oil painting, painting walls and windows, painting on tshirts or silk.. But what i liked the most was crafting, paper crafting.. 

Unfortunately i failed to study in Fine Arts faculty, but that didn’t stop me, I entered literature school, But worked as a graphics designer for almost 7 years, then came marriage and kids, through having kids I started a project with my sister for paper crafting and cupcake boxes and party decorations.. then stopped again, then 3 years ago i started a group on facebook called (كروت وبس) for new kind of dimensional cards and boxes.. introducing cards with a new, artistic and creative way..

I ‘m Rasha Youssef I am graduated from Tourism & Hotel management faculty, I am married and a mother. since I graduated I found that I liked all kinds of crafts but 2013 with help of one lovely person in my family😍😍 I started making Piñata ( It’s a container often made of paper or cloth; it is decorated, and filled with small toys or candy, or both, and then broken as part of a ceremony or celebration ) then I made other crafts specially for kids👪 such as (Marionette puppet , socks crafts, dolls, bean bags) .

I’m Mona Omar founder of Muna DHaher design studio. I’m graduated from faculty of Applied Arts. I’ve working in interior and furniture design for 11 years. I’ve experience not only in design but also in execution with workshop. From 3 years ago I’ve started my journey with our heritage and I’ve decided to design products that have characters related to our culture. I designed my first product mirror frames with kufic calligraphy and the clients love them so I’ve decided to continue my passion.

My name is Iman Shihab, I design kilim! Yes, I studied engineering but my passion towards art was greater, I worked as a graphic designer for many years, then life drove me away to raise my beautiful 3 girls and was so taken by the responsibilities to the extent that I began working other jobs such as admin work or even a teacher, but was never satisfied. Then an internal revolution inside me drove my skills of design toward art. So, I attended a lot of workshops that had the scope of using your own hands such as painting, calligraphy and weaving. The kilim motifs were a great inspiration to me, they triggered me badly to return to the computer screen and start designing compositions, adding colors and inserting my simple arabic typography designs.   In 2017, I started a drive to revive the kilim industry by creating original designs through recomposing authentic patterns, abstract color schemes together with handcrafting techniques.   March 2018, I found my dream coming true when I first exposed my pieces to markets, and people bought them — giving me very high praises and I even saw people taking photos beside my work!   My kilim pieces have a different perspective, you can use it as an art unit serving the decor requirements, hang it, put it on the sofa, sit on it and match all together as a setting.

The mom didn’t find but costumes in the market, she then decides to grant her daughter her wish and started learning, designing and stitching. Giftrest is an Egyptian brand for home accessories and seasonal gifting.   I am noran nagy owner of Giftrest and my business partner is my life partner “in good and bad as they say” , it all starts when he was not finding a suitable job, we played all the games and never know about god plan for us.I was working at then and i have always felt that something big is waiting for me something that was calling me, I decided to quit my job and i pushed so hard to start a business of our own. We have chosen to work on seasonal basis and this was really tough, its kind of restarting with every new season, new ideas, new designs, new product lines and new places for display.It was so hectic but we enjoyed a lot. We were lucky from the start to have beautiful people supporting our back and helping us throughout the way.   Our first hit was in March 2018, during mother’s day with our pop art collection that was so successful and from that date we succeeded to save a place at many big retailers like Cow, Diwan, Virgin, Ego, Party Station,Our Kids, Flamingo and many others.   Our business model was originally based on b2b model, so we are a sort of wholesaler but after the Corona crisis we decided to give more attention to b2c  and serve individual users through our digital platforms.   We are happy with what we have reached and we are proud that we succeeded in offering high quality products with trendy design that are 100% Egyptian.

Zarada or “زرده” was founded in 2019. It’s an Arabic word used among all jewelers meaning a jump ring. Jump rings are essential components in every single piece of jewellery and used in so many different ways to connect elements together. It’s a crucial link to all elements just like jewellery is the crucial link to express a woman’s sensation and mood and link it to different occasions.    We at “Zarada” aim to make every single piece an affirmation about who you are and a declaration of “Here’s who I am!”

Meraki is a family business that was founded in Cairo, Egypt in 2019. It provides a diversity of natural products for personal care catering to skin, hair and wellbeing.  After years of making her own natural products, which she often shared with her close friends, Mona Awwad finally founded Meraki in 2019.  It started with a basic face and body line made of the purest ingredients, blended with passion and attention, to provide affordable products for those seeking to care for their skin while respecting nature and what it has to offer. However it quickly evolved into much more than that as her loyal customers started expressing the need for specific products, not only for their skin but also for their hair and wellbeing.
