Hi, I’m Abeer Allam — a mom of four, a passionate maker, and the founder of Peekadoo, a handmade crochet brand born out of love, necessity, and a deep belief in purposeful play.
My journey started when I discovered that my youngest daughter was struggling with fine motor skills. As a mother, I wanted to help her grow, learn, and play in a safe, stimulating way. So I turned to something I’ve always loved — crochet. What began as a personal mission soon grew into a business that now supports other moms and children through carefully crafted toys, outfits, and room decor, all made with natural, hypoallergenic materials like cotton and bamboo yarns.
Why Peekadoo? It’s inspired by the game “Peekaboo” — but in our version, the kid has to do! So it's Peekadoo. We believe children learn best when they explore, create, and interact.
At Peekadoo, each piece is designed to do more than look cute. Our toys help babies develop essential sensory and motor skills. Our outfits grow with your child. And our room décor adds magic to everyday spaces. Every stitch carries intention, and every character we create has a story to tell.
Beyond the products, I’m committed to empowering women through craft. I mentor other makers, helping them turn their talents into thriving businesses — because I believe handmade has the power to change lives.

Country Charm
Two lifetime friends with so much in common, Sherien & May the founders, share the same passion for animals, philanthropy, and obviously the love of the serene countryside! It all started ever since we laid eyes on the beautiful city of Paris. We fell in love with every detail. The beauty, glamour, elegance, and artistry just got us elated and all wrapped in joy. The roses along the sidewalks, the smell of freshly baked cookies, and the heavenly architecture left us in awe; and who wouldn’t feel the warmth, delicacy and coziness of the French country charm?!
