Beauty and the Bag is simply a small family business, designing and painting each and every bag carefully. Our straw bags feature vibrant, hand-painted different designs. Our family has always loved the beach so here we are starting with our inspired bags! Check out our hand-painted eye bag collection inspired by summer in Greece, beautiful scenic views from our travel adventures, as well as our flowery, happy bags. Hello, welcome to hands and tools ☺️. We want to tell you a brief story about us. We are 100% handmade local brand, we started in 2021. The story started when I was 8 years old, I was in love with the handmade pieces in general, and I was always making a lot of scarfs and ice-caps for me, my family, and friends. I was always watching my grandmother sewing or making things with crochet and tricot, and I was amazed of how a very simple yarn and a needle can make these kind of art pieces with such a simple knots. I grew up and I left the job that I really love, and I suffered from depression and anxiety, the one thing that got me out of this state was crocheting 🧶. I am a self-taught crochet designer, who found a new passion of making an amazing modern handmade projects, and sharing it with you.

It all began when I was a little girl who loves to draw and play with colors, I didn’t imagine that it will be transformed into my passion and pursuit ( Terracota ). I love making things with my own hands and I appreciate all handmade arts, so I decided to make what I love and share it with everyone and there is nothing better than working in what you love. Mariam Mohamed is a visual artist based in Cairo who illustrates her surrounding environment influenced by her architectural background and expresses what's on her conscious or unconscious mind in paintings. Both of her styles have in common a gothic surrealist vibe. As an emerging artist, she's exploring herself through her art and sharing it through her art journal.
