Kemetra began as a shared love between two sisters and a simple belief:

that what we put on our skin and into our space should be pure, and nourishing.

 

Growing up, my sister was always creating mixing oils, herbs, and butters to make natural skincare long before it was a trend. Those early moments shaped our deep respect for nature and its ability to heal, protect, and restore.

 

Today, that love lives on through Kemetra.

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method, allowing every ingredient to retain its natural benefits. We use only high-quality oils and butters, carefully sourced from Egypt and from different parts of the world during my travels. Each formula is designed to truly feed the skin never to strip it.

Our candles are just as intentional.

We hand-craft our candle molds ourselves, making every piece truly one of a kind. Each candle is poured with 100% natural soy wax and finished with a wooden wick, chosen for a clean, slow burn that doesn’t pollute the air. The result is a gentle glow, a soft crackle, and unique natural colors—no two ever exactly the same.

We believe in honest products.

No toxins. No unnecessary additives. Just thoughtful craftsmanship rooted in nature.

Just dough it

It started with a baking course taken out of passion, flour everywhere in the house, and bread made for the people around us. When the feedback kept coming back better than expected, we realized this was something worth sharing. Simple bread, honest work, and a lot of care in every bake.

Ruqayat

A translator who studied business then fell in love with decoupage.  These are always the words that best describe the journey, so far.  Few years ago decoupage came my way and here we are, besties for 9 years.  Learnt from scratch, experienced every possible material and technique, trials and errors, figuring out the way, and then here we are. 

Decoupage was not my passion not even my hobby, I never knew it existed to be honest...Decoupage and translation speak the same language, each one of them allows you to refine, adapt and transform raw elements into a creative work of art that's understood and felt widely, and both are business! This is how the trio that describe my journey come together.

Decoupage is not just a cut, paint and paste process, it is how you turn a blank piece of wood, glass or whatever, into a one of a kind legacy! That's why I strive to make every Ruqayat piece a recognizable signature of Elegance.

It all started on October 13th, 2024. I woke up this morning and decided to start my small business. 

I always had that passion for making sweets and desserts, and was always keen to make the best products and choosing the best ingredients!

Fairy Land Garden Studio

Fairy Land began as a dream in 2015, when my love for art first took shape in the form of colors, clay, and imagination. Back then, I was a Fine Arts student, majoring in Sculpture, and I spent countless hours experimenting with forms, textures, and expressions. My little creations slowly became a reflection of who I am — passionate, emotional, and endlessly curious.

 

Later, life took me in a different direction. I joined The American University in Cairo to study Business, eager to understand how creativity meets the world of entrepreneurship. I started a completely different project — one that had nothing to do with art — and for a while, I thought maybe my artistic chapter had ended.

 

Then the world changed. During the pandemic, everything stopped… and that silence brought me back to what truly makes my heart alive — art. I picked up my brushes again, opened my colors, and Fairy Land was reborn — stronger, deeper, and more meaningful than ever.

 

Today, every planter pot I create carries a piece of my story — handmade with love, emotion, and soul. Fairy Land isn’t just a brand; it’s a reminder that even when life pauses or changes direction, your true passion always finds its way back to you.

After creating my first bag, my brother asked me to make him a laptop bag, and then relatives began requesting their own. Step by step, what started as a personal idea grew into a small journey.
