‏    ‏My name is Shafiaa Elwakil, I’m an Art lover. I search for beauty in everything around me…  ‏I studied Architecture and worked in the field of architectural and interior design for several years.  ‏Drawing , Painting and crafts making was always my passion .. by the year 2004 Jewellery making was my new passion . I self taught my self different techniques of silver Jewellery making , attended the  basic class at Azza Fahmy Design studio to learn more about the basics , and I spent a lot of time learning more and more techniques online and ever since I started designing and making my own pieces in 2013 based on the knowledge that I have acquired in addition to my Architectural background and designing skills. ‏Most of my designs are inspired by either nature, architecture around me , or our rich culture and heritage.  ‏I also aim to produce high end Jewellery where every piece is a form of art. Jewellery that speaks Poetry, illustrates Art and every form of Beauty around us. I don’t make mass production , all pieces are hand made limited edition.  ‏I also aim to introduce a new definition of dressing up to the modern woman where a piece of Jewellery is a possession not just because of the materials used but also the art that it’s meant to resemble .  ‏Every Piece has A Story Behind it.and i make it with love.

هوايه اتحولت لمهنه ..دايما بقول كده عن شغلى . اجمل حاجه فى الدنيا ان احنا نشتغل اكتر حاجه بنحبها و نساعد غيرنا انه يهادى اللى بيحبهم بهديه هاندميد اتعملت بكل تفاصيلها عشان اللى بنحبهم .. اتعلمت الكروشيه بعد الجامعه علطول لكن لما قررت ابدأ البيزنس بتاعى حاولت اتميز فيه و اتخصص فى الشنط بس المره دى مش اى شنط ،قررت اتخصص فى فن التابيسترى. بلد المنشأ قرية فى كولومبيا و انا ادمنت الفن ده لما اتعلمته و عشقت تفاصيله . فن جميل بكل تفاصيله من اول الرسومات و الالوان و شكل الشنطه ..بحاول انفذ تصميمات جديده لان الفن ده  اغلبه للشنط mochila bag او مخله بالعربى لانها شكل المخله لكن انا عملت منها الشكل المستطيل و الدائرى كمان دايما بنستخدم الخيوط القطن بس انا استعملت خيط الخيش و الجلود مع الشنطه عشان تكون شكلها مختلف.. الشنطه ممكن تتعمل  فى تلات اسابيع لان تفاصيلها مهمه ..عملت شنط تانيه بس كنت دايما بلف الف و ارجع للتابيسترى ❤️

I’m Mai Osama founder of Floral Soap an Entire Line of Natural Handmade Skin & Hair Care Products.

I have been always obsessed with nature, colors, lines &anything made by my own hands. I worked with divers ruff materials like wood, plaster, pottery, glass and leather,  in addition to being a mom, there was no time for taking care of myself or skin.

This was the start, I decided to leave all CHEMICALS &ARTIFICIAL PRODUCTS, searched a lot about natural oils & extracts, took a lot of time in studying & Courses.

At the beginning, this was for my own skin & my family, but in the process I realized how important is it and I felt like I owed it to every mom or lady❤ that have no time to take care of herself.

My name is Norhan and I’m a recovering architect. I was always in awe of arabesque and Islamic architecture and materials. As an architecture student, I couldn’t wait to graduate and put more of what I loved to see out in the world. I spent a good three years after graduation moving between different architecture firms only to realize I’m slowly losing my passion and losing sight of my creativity to real estate companies and uniform compounds. I was blessed with Adam almost two years ago which meant I took a break to do the most rewarding job in the world of being a mother to a gorgeous child. Staying true to my luck, as soon as I was ready to rejoin the job market a literal global pandemic started. Thankfully though, it was a business in disguise. The creative juices started flowing again and I started sketching some designs with my favorite material, Copper in mind.  I am happy to share with you my design babies. I’m using high quality copper and base for the mobile cases. All the phases of creation are handmade and carried out under my careful watching eye (to the dismay of the coppersmith). The mobile cases are made to order with your choice of design, phone model and possible silver or gold plating. Those designs are very close to my heart so I hope you find as much joy using them as I found making them.

Really I’m so proud of being part of this talented community, I’m Samira Magdy Founder of Ghagaria for Handwoven scarf, Shawls, beaded  & crochet items. when I was 20s I dreamt about my gallery for handmade items, my father was supporting me  to take this huge step and have my own business while I were so young but I started to be an employee for a corporate and all people around told me don’t do this right now “صاحب بالين كداب” focus on ur job, your career and your dream  could be reached at any point of time , I kept my dream since. and 6 years ago I decided to establish my Brand “Ghagaria”

Our staff are all handmade, done with passion and care. Our scarf and Shawl all are handwoven in upper EGYPT, for crochet items I do it myself with my cousin and for beaded items all are done by my great Mom

I’m Reem Youssef  the founder of RY Designs. My Bachelor’s degree was in Interior design, but a passion for jewelry design led me to a Masters degree in jewelry design at the University of NSW, Australia .I also later gained certificates for programs at Studio Jewelers Ltd NY, and Benches on Division, Chicago. RY Designs is a high quality handmade statement jewlery inspired by my travel experiences and my fascination with geometric shapes, art, and patterns. Contemporary pieces like multi-way earrings and double faces pendants and necklaces are part of my diverse collection.
