الحكاية بدأت من مطبخ بيتي…

من حبّي للمطبخ وفكرة الفطير المشلتت اللي بيفكرنا ببيوت زمان واللّمة الحلوة. كنت دايمًا أعمله لأهلي وأصحابي، وكل مرة كانوا يقولولي إن طعمه مميز وبيفكرهم بفطير زمان.

من هنا قررت أحوّل الشغف ده لمشروع صغير أشارك بيه طعم الفطير البيتي الطازة مع ناس أكتر.

كل فطيرة بتتعمل بإيدي وبحب، وبمكونات طازة علشان توصلكم بطعم بلدي أصيل زي اللي في بيوتنا.

لو نفسك في فطير مشلتت بيتي طازة… إحنا جاهزين دايمًا.

Finding the balance between honouring the Islamic dress code and feeling truly comfortable, secure, and elegant has always been a challenge. I kept asking myself—why does something so spiritual feel so inconvenient?

That question stayed with me. Then I decided to stop searching for a solution, and create it by myself.

As a first step, and since praying is the most important action in our day, I began by designing an Isda. The one piece that guarantees proper attire for salah, and this is only the beginning of a journey to create more pieces that fulfil modesty with both comfort and refined elegance.

As women, praying outside the home is never as simple as it should be. I designed a Portable Isdal, a piece you can take anywhere.

My hair has always been wild, full, and untamed. For years I struggled with it because of social expectations telling us that beauty must be controlled, contained, subdued, polished, perfectly styled. Yet deep down, I always loved it exactly as it was.

Eventually I realized the struggle was never with my hair, it was with the pressure to tame it. And the truth is that perfection is a myth we were taught to chase, while real beauty begins the moment we embrace our natural signature.

This brand is created to celebrate what we've been taught to control.

Each piece is handcrafted in brass & copper to adorn natural, unruly hair exactly as it is. No styling required. No social occasion needed. Just place the piece on your hair and let it exist.

Bahera Jewels

Bahera is a visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2013. She began her professional career in the field of mosaics, where she worked for five years. Despite her work in that field, she had always been passionate about jewelry making since her college days.

She taught herself through YouTube tutorials and started designing simple jewelry pieces that she sold to her friends. Over time, this hobby continued to grow with her from 2011 until 2020, without her taking any real steps to turn it into a proper business.

In 2020, Bahira was working on a mosaic project, but circumstances didn’t allow her to continue—especially since the work involved breaking glass and other risky materials, and at the time, her daughter had just started crawling. Since she couldn’t imagine staying idle, she decided to return to jewelry making. She brought out some beads she had kept from before, tried making a few pieces, and they all sold out. From that moment, she decided to follow the path she truly loves. ❤️
